Let’s start with the Christmas tree. You can help prevent eye injuries by always reaching for a stepladder when hanging lights on high-up places in your home. And try to hang them with an insulated hook or clip that has rubber padding around it instead of a plastic one that can cut your skin.
Next, when you’re trimming the trees, make sure to use a sturdy ladder, and wear protective goggles to prevent wayward branches from hitting you in the eye. When hanging up ornaments, remember not to touch them with fingers that have lotion on them. Lotion can irritate the eye and cause redness and pain.
