Meet Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. Civia McCaffrey was born in Fresno, CA but did most of her growing up in Las Vegas, NV. She graduated from Bonanza High School and received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. After college, she moved to Jenkintown, PA where she attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. After graduating in 2006, Dr. McCaffrey happily moved back to Las Vegas to begin her professional career. Dr. McCaffrey began practicing optometry at The Eyecare Center and was there for 13 years before opening Summerlin Vision in 2019. Dr. McCaffrey is excited to provide compassionate, professional, and high-quality optometric care to the community.

In her free time, Dr. McCaffrey enjoys long workouts, tennis, traveling, and spending time with her three children, Maddox, Elliana, and Preston.
